Random thoughts about American comedy in film, television, theater, literature, and life. I'm a life long fan of all forms of comedy and over the years I've performed stand-up, written comedy sketches, taken improv classes at Second City, and worked at a comedy club in Chicago which provided me the opportunity to study many of the top comedians of our times including Bill Hicks and Richard Jeni.
